A trip in photos | Bulgaria

Recently I returned from Bulgaria for a family holiday, it was my first holiday abroad and certainly won't be my last! We only went for a week which seemed to fly by, I really could've stayed longer it was so relaxing and the place was so beautiful! Most of the week was spent on the resort we stayed at since it led onto the beach and they had lots of activities going on suited for everyone during the day, most sports related the majority being water sports which I didn't really fancy however I went to a yoga and gymnastics class which I really enjoyed, along with this they had a show on each night all were really enjoyable however on the night we arrived there was a chill beach party. I know a CHILL beach party?? Sounds strange but there were dancers and it was suited for families. The resort also happened to have a mini aqua park on site, have to admit I probably went on the rides everyday besides when we went to Nessebar Aqua Park which was incredible! There may have been lots of people queueing and around the park but you never had to wait long, only a few of the bigger rides had massive queues but they were well worth the wait. One of our main day trips out was into Nessebar Old Town, I was in awe of it all there was so much going on and there was so much history and beauty surrounding everything. However it's now back to the real world and not sitting by the pool with a book in my hands which means starting university, exciting but the rain and coldness of England isn't so inviting after a week of bright, hot sunny days.

Adventuring | Dovedale

While being swamped down with final assignment work at college I was given the opportunity to go on a trip up North to Alton Towers so naturally i said yes and my adrenaline self came out for a day the theme park was relatively quiet which was great. After a long day we headed back to a b&b for the night ready to be up bright and early for a morning at Dovedale! I'd never been before but after being told by so many people that it's a must to see sight in the Peak District we had to have a visit before coming home, plus we had to travel by to get back home so there was no reason not to really. The sights all around were stunning! We followed the path along the stream for almost two miles to where some of the caves were, I thought they were going to be just ordinary caves but i was wrong they weren't overly big but there was water running out of them to the stream, looking closely you could see the water running down the back of the cave! There were people standing in the middle of the stream fly fishing, it was really interesting to watch and hear about how it works, one of them had caught 5 fish from it in an hour or so of us being there (others couldn't believe it, too good to be true?) and all as i'd never seen anyone fly fishing before. I had a lovely walk around and wished that i could stay longer however we had to head back home but i'm sure i'll take a trip back there at some point, its so lovely there. It's one of those places you feel at peace and could stay for the whole day however i wouldn't rush up the steps. Finding out the hard way wasn't great, it looks like there's only a few steps but as you get going they don't seem to stop but the views are incredible. I really recommend taking a trip to Dovedale if you're in the Peak District, you won't regret it.

Sundays Adventures

Today i thought i'd do a day in photos type post, Sunday's for me are more of a chill day before college the next day and taking some time out to enjoy the things i love.
To start the day off i made porridge with honey and a detox twinings tea for breakfast, usually i have green tea but while being ill i've found this to help. While having breakfast i'll read, today i read a couple chapters of Stardust, so far its really good. I then go on to tidying my room, focusing on my desk as that always ends up being a mess after doing sketchbook work for college, nothing says tidying than an upbeat playlist so it doesn't feel so much like a chore. After that i usually get dressed for the day and apply a little makeup; concealer, fill in brows, glitter eyeliner and bold lip. Quick, simple and nothing too heavy. Then sometimes i will make up a batch of yogurt, today i made plain yogurt to add berries and honey too. By then it's probably time for lunch, lately i've been loving scrambled egg with pepper on toast, super easy and yummy! After lunch i'll usually go for a walk in the heath near where i live taking different routes each time, exploring parts i haven't been to before, normally i'll only take my dslr camera to take a few photos but recently i've switched it up with my minolta film camera, i love shooting with this camera as it really makes you think about the photos that you take and the settings that you use. Upon getting home i like to take out my tablet and check up on my sims on there, it's really tempting me into buying sims 4 when it comes out for mac. After spending too much time on there it's usually time to start preparing the usual Sunday roast, though today somehow i forgot to cook my quorn fillets. While having dinner we'll usually have the tv on with a film showing or doctor who if its on. Following that its time to have a bath and have a few games of spider solitaire before removing any makeup from my face and moisturising. Sundays are when i tend to repaint my nails so today i chose a nude shade from barry m. Then to end the day i'll watch a few episodes of merlin then read one final chapter of the current book that i'm reading.

Do you have any Sunday traditions?
